Where the apostille is issued in Israel
The document type decides. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs apostilles state-issued documents such as certificates and diplomas. A Magistrate Court apostilles notarial documents such as translations, powers of attorney, certified copies, and affidavits.
Notes
Notes
Portugal accepts Israeli apostille. AIMA (immigration) accepts documents in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish without translation; civil-registry, notary, and Conservatoria require sworn Portuguese translation by a Portuguese lawyer-notary or sworn translator.
Note on destination-country requirements. Specific processing times and fees depend on the document type, we give a realistic estimate after seeing the document.

Because the country is a Hague Convention member, additional embassy legalisation is usually unnecessary. If the office where you will submit the document asks for it, send us that request before ordering work.
