Translator's declaration
Also known as: Декларация переводчика (тцhаhир переводчика) · תצהיר מתרגם
Written declaration by the translator that the translation they performed is accurate, certified by a notary.
An alternative path to notarised translation provided by the Notaries Law of 1976: the translator signs a declaration (תצהיר) of translation accuracy, and the notary certifies the translator's signature. This route is used when the notary does not speak one of the language pair — typical for rare languages. A receiving authority abroad may require additional notarial certification on top of the declaration; this should be confirmed in advance.
